Many software development organizational models and methodologies exist—eXtreme
programming, the Capability Maturity Model, agile software development, and
more—presenting opportunities for tech writers to get involved at different
points during the project management lifecycle. Come learn to identify key points
during a project lifecycle that should be included in a project management plan,
which points present opportunities for writers to be involved, and how to effectively
complete your documentation tasks when critical dependencies are unaccounted for.
We'll share our experiences, commiserate, and learn how others have managed in
similar situations.
